  • What have you learnt about this topic?
  • What did you like about this topic?
  • What is your role in practicing sustainability for a balanced future - at home, at school, in my community?

I have learned heaps of stuff about lamb farming, pork farming, planting and farming around the world, beef farming, dairy farming, poultry farming and genetically modified food. What I liked about the topic was learning about the different type of farming here in New Zealand and around the world. To be sustainable at at home I need to re-cycle my paper and make the right choices. At school I can be sustainable by listening to my teacher,do my work and come to school. My role in the community is to be sustainable is to pick up rubbish and contribute to make a healthy community.

Loud Shirt Day

Loud Shirt Day

Today is loud shirt day. This day is all about supporting deaf kids. All the money will go to the society so that technology can be provided to help kids hear better.

We think that this is an important charity as the money will help kids like Charday in our class who is partially deaf.
